A Kid's Guide To Fly-Fishing: It's More Than Catching FishBy Tyler Befus; Foreword by Jack Dennis
A kid's book about fly-fishing written by a kid! Author Tyler Befus provides the aspiring young angler information that will help them with more than just the basics. It's written so that kids can understand it, but it's very well done and the information is quite complete. Tyler provides all the illustrations in the books as well. It's inspiring to young anglers to know that fly-fishing isn't just for adults. The author holds two International Game Fish Association Junior World Records in fly-fishing. He is the youngest member of the Whiting Farms, Rio Products and Ross Reels pro staff teams and is a designer for Umpqua Feather Merchants. His father, Brad Befus is also a well-known fly-fisherman. |

Recycled WadersYour old, worn-out, leaking waders don't go away after you toss them- they last nearly forever in a landfill. The folks at Recycled Waders are doing their part to save the environment by repurposing material from breathable waders that no longer serve the fisherman effectively. The products made by Recycled Waders are water resistant, lightweight and durable. And they're really cool, to boot! I have one of their messenger creels, and it is sweet. |
